Programme 1 · Fundacja Finaks
Helping foreigners and refugees into work
We help foreigners and refugees, mainly from Ukraine and Belarus, find stable employment in Poland and settle into a new workplace.
We believe that everyone who comes to our country deserves decent work and real support in the first, most difficult months. Looking for a job in a new country can be hard not only because of the language barrier, but also because of differences in regulations, work culture and the job market itself. We aim to be the first point of contact that helps you sort all of this out.
Who it is for
- ✓Foreigners and refugees living in the Podlaskie Voivodeship and the surrounding area who are looking for work
- ✓Employers who want to legally employ a foreigner and need help with the formalities
What our support involves
- ✓Help with finding a job – career guidance, help with preparing a CV and pointing you to job offers that match your qualifications
- ✓Help with Polish – individual support in learning the Polish needed in the workplace
- ✓Help with adapting at work – support during the first weeks of employment: explaining duties, work culture, health and safety rules (BHP) and employee rights in Poland
- ✓Advice for employers – help with legalising the employment of a foreigner: documents, work permits, registration with ZUS and other authorities
How to get in touch
Contact us by phone (+48 513 269 821) or email (biuro@finaks.com.pl) and describe your situation. Support for job seekers is free of charge. We respond to every enquiry and agree on a plan of action together.
Why contact us
This programme is at the heart of our mission – at least 70% of new jobs in our foundation are created specifically for foreigners and refugees, so we know from experience what entering the Polish labour market looks like, both formally and on a human level.
