Support for energy cooperatives and renewable energy communities
Energy cooperatives are one of the most promising forms of social economy in Poland – and one of the most complex when it comes to settlements. We guide energy cooperatives and renewable energy communities through it step by step.
More and more municipalities, farmers and local communities are considering setting up their own energy cooperative, but the formalities and energy settlement rules can be discouraging right from the start. With our experience, you can get through this process smoothly and without costly mistakes.
Who it is for
- ✓Groups of residents, municipalities or entrepreneurs planning to set up an energy cooperative
- ✓Existing energy cooperatives and renewable energy communities that need help with settlements
- ✓People considering joining an energy cooperative that is already operating
What our support involves
- ✓Advice on setting up an energy cooperative – explaining the formal requirements, membership structure and legal basis
- ✓Information on energy settlements in a cooperative – explaining the rules for balancing energy between members, including the statutory 1:0.6 ratio
- ✓Consultations on joining a cooperative – for people wondering whether and how to join an existing energy cooperative
- ✓Accounting services for energy cooperatives operating in the Podlaskie Voivodeship and beyond

Why contact us
Energy cooperatives are a real opportunity for lower bills and local energy independence, but formal mistakes at the start can block the entire project. Our experience of working with, among others, the Energy Cooperative of Sokółka County “Nowa Energia” allows us to point to real, proven solutions.
