Team

Why does it matter? Three groups find it particularly hard to get a chance on the Polish labour market: foreigners who, despite the education and work experience gained in their home countries, cannot find work that matches their qualifications - often because of the language barrier, the lack of recognition of their diplomas, or simply because no one is willing to train them; older people, whose many years of professional experience are often ignored by employers looking for younger candidates, even though it is precisely their knowledge and precision that are invaluable to businesses; and young people leaving the foster care system (children's homes, foster families), who start adult life without family support and without the first work experience they need to live independently.

Fundacja Finaks gives these people what they need most: a first chance, a patient introduction to the profession and a working environment in which language differences, age or a difficult life story are not an obstacle but a starting point for building a stable, independent future.

AK

Aksana Koval

President of the Management Board / Founder

More than a dozen years of experience in accounting, finance, and tax and commercial law, gained in Belarus and Poland, as well as in working with clients from the USA and the UK. She runs the Foundation and sets the direction of its work in helping people who find it hard to get work. She personally trains the team in Polish, with translation into the native language of foreign employees, which helps them understand new professional topics better and master them faster.

Elżbieta Kos

Accountant

30 years of experience in finance and accounting at a housing cooperative - full bookkeeping, settlements with residents, special-purpose funds, investments and utilities. She is responsible for the correct and timely bookkeeping and tax settlements of the energy cooperatives served by our practice, and supports the team in solving unusual accounting issues.

TK

Tatsiana Kastyka

Accountant

Experience gained in Belarus in processing documents and recording inventory. She speaks Polish and fluent Russian, which allows her to serve multilingual clients efficiently. She previously could not find work in Poland that matched her education - employment at the Foundation is a real opportunity for her to develop in the profession she trained for.

AK

Anastasiya Khrobastava

Accountant

Experience gained in Poland (2022-2024) in handling invoices, receipts and tax-free documents. She speaks Polish, Russian and English. After leaving her first job, she spent a long time unable to find new work in accounting - a lack of in-depth knowledge proved to be a barrier, and employers were not always willing to train her. At the Foundation, we support everyone who wants to learn.
