Fundacja Finaks
Mission of Fundacja Finaks
Fundacja Finaks – accounting that creates jobs for people who find it hard to get work.
We are a foundation operating as a social enterprise. We run a professional accounting practice and devote all of its income to our social mission: helping people who find it hard to get work into employment and back into community life. At least 70% of the new jobs created in our organisation go to foreigners, refugees and the long-term unemployed.
We are not an ordinary accounting firm – we are proof that business and a social mission can drive each other. Every invoice we issue to our clients funds real support for a specific person: vocational training, a language course, advice or a new job.
We believe that responsible business does not have to choose between profitability and social impact. For us, accounting is more than numbers, tax returns and deadlines – it is an everyday tool that helps specific people gain stable employment, new skills and a chance to live independently. Every job we create, every training course we fund and every consultation we provide comes from the same source: the income earned by our accounting practice.
Who we are
Our operating model
We operate as a social business: we provide commercial accounting, HR and payroll and advisory services to companies, energy cooperatives and non-governmental organisations, and reinvest the income in our statutory activities. As a result, our support does not depend solely on grants – we have a stable source of our own funding for our social mission. This model allows us to plan for the long term and respond to the needs of the people who come to us, regardless of the current availability of external funding.
